Jobs are important to choose because they are a sole way of gaining money in Aleris besides characters going on hosted quests. Job openings will be posted here, but you must apply via the forum if you are interested in a city position.

Job Rules:

1. Employees must make a post at least once a week describing some activity at their job. Managers must make two. Your post must also be made in your designated shop thread on the Cornucopia Market forum. If you are a member of the Aleris Chronicle, articles count for your weekly post. If you are a member of the Alerian Tribunal, any post made in the Tribunal forum will count towards your weekly post.

2. In order to receieve gold payments, the employee/manager weekly posts must have at least 500 words.

3. Characters may only apply for one position in the Kingdom of Aleris at any time.

4. You cannot be a member of the Alerian Tribunal and have a city job; you can only be one or the other.

5. To apply for a job, you most post in this thread on the forum. Manager positions will be approved by the GM Staff, while Employees will be approved by the Manager of the store.

6. Characters must be registered on the Aleris website to apply for the job.

Gold Payments:

  • Employees - 100 Gold for a weekly post.
  • Managers - 150 Gold for a weekly post.
  • Head Alerian Tribunal Members - 200 Gold for a weekly post.
  • All Other Alerian Tribunal Members - 150 Gold for a weekly post.

Every 100 words over the minimum 500 requirement will tack on an additional 25 gold.

7. If a character does not meet the minimum weekly post requirements for his/her job, they will be removed from the position. If a job is taken away, a character may reapply for a different one in two weeks. If any person is having a difficult time keeping up with the posting requirement for their job, please contact one of the GM staff members via the forum.
