Physical Features: Whereas Daphne resembled their mother, Danika more closely resembled their father. With innocent, bright blue eyes and fiery locks of red hair, she's a different kind of beauty. Her complexion is slightly more pale than her sister, though it only enhances her appearance; however, her irises show a striking feline influence, attributed to her race. Unlike her sister, she dresses less conservatively, often opting for lighter, less cumbersome armor that has more weak points, but allows her to move quickly. She also carries only light weaponry, notably a short sword and the trademark weapon of both families, stakes carved from white oak wood. Her body is an object of immoral beauty, toned to perfection and flawless; both of her hips are lined with intricate tribal designs of a rose surrounded by thorns; the vines entwine together along the front of her lower stomach, though the tattoo is covered most of the time.
Background: Like her sister, and the McKennah family before her, Danika grew up on the grounds of Northcross, the Redmont Estate. Her father, Allrion McKennah was murdered by one of the family's many enemies when she was a baby, and she was essentially raised by her mother until the age of fourteen. Her sister quickly befriended the son of the Redmont nobility/future heir, Maxim, and Danika often tagged along when Maxim would spend time with Daphne and Miriam. However, the same attack upon the estate that saw the death of Nathaniel Redmont, also saw the bitter demise of her mother.
After her mother's funeral, Danika chose to enroll in a university where she learned not only to fight, but politics as well, making her an effective negotiator for the family. Due to that, she missed both her sister's engagement, and subsequent wedding. Danika embarked on several missions of her own, and learned a few basic spells to assist her in combat when necessary. It wasn't until she learned of Maxim's disappearance while visiting Saharis, that she finally decided to return home.
Once there, she learned she had arrived too late; Daphne had met with the returning Kinslayer, and had been murdered in cold blood. Horrified, Danika went to the Goddess of War to confront Maxim, only to learn that he was now the very thing that the Redmonts fought against. She displayed uncharacteristic bravery, accusing Maxim of dishonor before leaving him there. From that point on, she drifted from city to city, helping people until she learned of the circumstances behind Maxim's change of heart.
When the betrayal was discovered by her, she began to doubt herself, and eventually encountered a therianthrope on the outskirts of a deserted town. Bitten, she barely managed to make it to the next village for help, where she then stayed for three months while recuperating, and getting used to what she had become. Her beast mode was that of a humanoid tigress, with deadly claws and much faster reflexes, as well as more strength; she eventually chose to remain that way, and sought out Maxim Redmont once more. Before she learned of his fall from the Aquilis Molior, he actually found her, and told her of Daphne's return; together, the pair orchestrated a skirmish between Navidium and Atheny, both huge cities on the isle where the Redmonts resided. Only after the scheme was carried out, did Danika reveal her feelings to Maxim with a heated kiss. Only time will tell where it goes from there...
