Check them out! ![]() ![]() Redmont Attack on Palace Leaves Dozens Dead! Posted by Sarine Desiderio on 01.12.10 In the wake of King Alerion's announcement to ally himself and Aleris with the Ravenholm Empire of the Outlands an attack was levied against the royal palace that resulted in nearly thirty Royal Guards dead. One lone guard survived to tell the tale of the brutal assault. Last Thursday under the cloak of night an ominous figure approached the palace; reports describe the assailant as appearing of insectoid origins with the flesh of what could only be its victims stretched over the skeletal frame like some macabre trophy. The attacker identified himself as none other than Maxim Redmont, the very figure implicated in the civil unrest in the Outlands. As feared, the alliance with the Ravenhom Empire and the Outlands has potentially resulted in an attack on the Alerisian citizens that has ended with the deaths of dozens of loyal guards. Unfortunately there is no way to determine if the attack was motivated by the new alliance but it does seem related. Read more here... ![]() ![]() The Lost Soul of the King Posted by Elysia on 09.25.09 The Temple of Winter was a barren place, usually only inhabited by those who worked under the obsidian eyes of the Goddess, Elysia. Inside the walls of Elysia's church, one could hear the song of swirling, snow-filled winds raging outside, keeping unwanted and faithless visitors away. The frosted winds provided protection and their sounds were ever present, a reminder that only those strong enough to face the elements and death would receive anything close to compassion. However, there was another noise that had mingled its way into the song of the ferocious winds. It was barely audible to those with normal hearing, but the Goddess had heard it. A heartbeat. One that was both erratic and fluttering with nervous anticipation. Something had gone wrong for sure.
