Check them out! ![]() ![]() Redmont Attack on Palace Leaves Dozens Dead! Posted by Sarine Desiderio on 01.12.10 In the wake of King Alerion's announcement to ally himself and Aleris with the Ravenholm Empire of the Outlands an attack was levied against the royal palace that resulted in nearly thirty Royal Guards dead. One lone guard survived to tell the tale of the brutal assault. Last Thursday under the cloak of night an ominous figure approached the palace; reports describe the assailant as appearing of insectoid origins with the flesh of what could only be its victims stretched over the skeletal frame like some macabre trophy. The attacker identified himself as none other than Maxim Redmont, the very figure implicated in the civil unrest in the Outlands. As feared, the alliance with the Ravenhom Empire and the Outlands has potentially resulted in an attack on the Alerisian citizens that has ended with the deaths of dozens of loyal guards. Unfortunately there is no way to determine if the attack was motivated by the new alliance but it does seem related. Read more here... ![]() ![]() To Save a Kingdom Posted by Memoria on 05.24.10 Once upon a time, the realm of Aleris was a dismal place and although the land was not highly sought after, many people lived among its cities, rivers and forests. It was not until much later that King Alerion was able to sacrifice his own immortal blood and save the forsaken lands of Aleris. Slowly people began to awaken from their slumber and realized what it meant to live, breathe and function with purpose. The Alerians now had things to devote themselves to - a newfound feeling that was previously smothered under the shadow of Alerion's deceased brothers. Time flowed normally for a while, as it should have from the beginning. People began to adjust to their lives and there was a pleasant balance in Aleris that was neither good nor evil. While the citizens of Aleris had learned what it meant to be alive, a thief had crept under their noses and stole the soul of one of Alerion's brothers - a move which would eventually take the lives of many people.
